The Industry Call Themes
Early Detection
Too many people go undiagnosed until it’s too late. Early detection and diagnosis can offer patients the best possible treatment options at a lower cost to the healthcare system.
We support innovation projects that aim to improve early detection. The industry call solicits applications for digital-, data- or device-driven solutions that address one or more of these focus areas:
· Faster and more precise diagnostics for early intervention
· Actionable decision-support for healthcare providers
· Validated prediction models for early detection and diagnosis
· Integrated solutions bridging primary and secondary care
We aim to accelerate and the development and implementation of new or improved clinical solutions that will enable earlier detection within the following disease areas:
· Lung oncology
· Opthalmology
Capacity Issues
There is a lack of healthcare professionals, creating delays and bottlenecks. Digital and data-driven solutions can contribute to solving these challenges.
We support innovation projects that aim to solve capacity challenges. The industry call solicits applications for digital-, data- or device-driven solutions that address one or more of these focus areas:
· Increased diagnostic capacity for earlier detection and diagnosis
· Continuous and actionable decision support for healthcare providers
· Validated prediction models that support optimal resource allocation, disease progression and treatment response
· Scalability to other related disease areas and across markets
We aim to accelerate and the development and implementation of new or improved clinical solutions that will help solve capacity issues now and in the future within the following disease areas:
· Radiology/imaging within lung cancer or hematology
· Pathology within lung cancer, breast cancer or hematology
Health at Home
To ease the pressure on hospitals and provide patients with more personalised healthcare, there is a need to move diagnosis and treatment out of the hospital and closer to the patient’s home.
We support innovation projects that address ‘health at home’. The industry call solicits applications for digital or digital-, data- or device-driven solutions that address one or more of these focus areas:
· Continuous and remote patient-management solutions that improve routine monitoring, self-management, symptom management, treatment adherence and quality of life
· Inclusion of health records and patient-reported outcomes in digital patient workflows allowing for more timely and patient-empowered treatment using data-driven approaches
· Scalability across markets and to other disease-related areas
We aim to accelerate and the development and implementation of new or improved clinical solutions that enable health at home solutions within the following disease areas:
· Breast oncology
· Lung oncology Lung oncology
· Opthalmology (wet AMD)
· Hematology (NHL-DLBCL & FL)
